Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These are the rules for using Tally. We've kept them short and in plain English.
1.Who can use Tally
Tally is for businesses. Accounts are set up by Tally Audit LLC for a company, and that company's admins invite their team. By signing in you agree to these terms on behalf of your company, and confirm you're allowed to.
2.Your account
Keep your password private and don't share accounts; invite each person instead. Your company's admins decide who has access and what each role can do, and are responsible for removing people who leave. Tell us right away at legal@tallyaudit.dev if you think someone got into your account.
3.Your data
Your company owns everything it uploads or enters. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Tally to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including vendor invoices, contracts and documents.
4.What Tally does, and doesn't
Tally compares invoices with the contract rates, work orders and visit records you provide and flags charges that look wrong. Flags are evidence for your team to review, not a final decision: you decide what to dispute, approve or pay.
Documents are read by AI, which can make mistakes, so check the details before relying on them. Tally is not legal, accounting or tax advice. Results are only as accurate as the contracts and records it is given.
5.Fair use
- Don't try to get into another company's data or anything you weren't given access to.
- Don't upload malware or content you have no right to share.
- Don't overload, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
6.Pilots and fees
Pilots are free unless a written agreement says otherwise. Paid use follows the order form or agreement you sign with us, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
7.Keeping things confidential
We treat your company's data as confidential and only let the people and service providers who need it to run Tally access it. Please treat anything non-public we share with you about Tally the same way.
8.Changes to the service
We are improving Tally continuously and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep it available, but can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a provider outage.
9.Ending
Either side can stop at any time. If your company leaves, email us and we will help export its data, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
10.Limits of responsibility
Tally is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Tally Audit LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits), and its total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount your company paid for Tally in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if that is more.
11.Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. If we change them, we will update the date above and tell account admins about significant changes before they take effect.
